Boyceville Science Olympiad Hosts 18th Annual Invitational

BOYCEVILLE – The Boyceville Science Olympiad program hosted their 18th annual invitational tournament this past weekend with Division team championships at both the middle school level and high school levels.  Boyceville medal winners were as follows:

Gold medals were earned by the following:

  • Juniors Jon Madison and William Engel in both Electric Vehicle & Helicopters
  • Senior Delaney Olson and juniors Chelsi Holden and Zoey Hellendrung in Experimental Design
  • Olson and senior Emily Fetzer in Forensics
  • Juniors Karen Schaff and Loralie West in Geocaching
  • Sophomores Brady Rasmussen and Kade Phillips in Robot Tour
  • Senior Abigail Bauer and Hellendrung in Wind Power

  • Sophomores Ava Dormanen and Emily Jackson in Horticulture (JV)

“We had a great day at our home invite this year” said head coach Andy Hamm.  “Our students really stepped up in the quick three week turnaround after Unity and cleaned up several events.  I was really proud of the hard work our students have put in to keep getting better every week.”

Boyceville will next be in action at the Medford Invitational on January 18th.  Boyceville Science Olympiad is coached by Andy Hamm, Russ Riehbrandt, and Tony Pelikan.
